The silTEX® 1615.VC2 welding protective blanket is made from first-class SiO2 silicate glass yarns and presents itself as a protective blanket for extreme high-temperature applications up to 1600 °C. The protective covers of the silTEX® series are used in situations with extremely demanding temperature conditions. The material is additionally protected by the vermiculite coating on both sides and its mechanical load limit is increased. Designed for extreme temperatures, this welder's blanket maintains its durability in both vertical and horizontal applications. It withstands welding spatter, flying sparks, flames and molten metal spatter up to an impressive temperature load of up to 1600 °C. These blankets are available in a variety of standard and custom sizes, and can also be purchased in convenient rolls.
