KFZ.1460 Automotive Welding Blanket made of Preox Needle Felt up to 1400°C, Fiberglass-Free and Paint-Friendly

The KFZ.1460 welding blanket is 100% free from fiberglass and made from high-quality pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers (Preox fibers). These welding protection blankets were specially developed for the automotive sector to avoid contaminating vehicle bodies and interiors with fiberglass during repair and maintenance work. The KFZ.1460 welding blankets are approximately 6.0 mm thick, providing excellent thermal insulation to reliably protect paint and components inside and outside the vehicle from temperature effects. Despite their thickness, these welding protection blankets are extremely lightweight at only around 600 g/m², soft, and highly flexible. Additionally, this material is skin-friendly and leaves no fiberglass dust. The KFZ.1460 welding blankets are non-flammable and ideal for both vertical and horizontal applications as protective blankets against welding splashes, sparks, and direct flames. Optionally, these blankets can be equipped with eyelets in various diameters as needed. KFZ.1460 welding blankets are available in a variety of standard sizes, as well as custom formats, and can also be supplied as practical roll material.
