Fabric compensators are made up of different layers. The composition of the layers and the respective materials used depend on the conditions of use and enable the compensators to be adapted to a wide variety of requirements. Our compensators are suitable for gaseous media (e.g. fresh air, exhaust air, flue gas) with temperatures of up to 900 °C, for media containing solvents, acids or caustic solutions and for media containing solids.

Fabric compensators offer high flexibility, good tear resistance, high temperature resistance and are suitable for a wide variety of applications. Hand-Made in Germany, we manufacture our compensators with the highest quality and precision, subject to strict quality control.

Fabric compensators

(up to 900 °C)

Fabric compensators are used to compensate for axial, angular and lateral thermal expansion and vibrations and to prevent structure-borne noise transmission. Due to the high flexibility of the fabric, it is also possible to compensate for overlapping movements.

Fabric compensators consist of one or more layers, depending on the medium, temperature range and pressure. Depending on the requirements, we use high-quality E-glass fabrics with different coatings as an outer support layer, aluminum-coated fabrics as convection layers, PTFE-coated fabrics with or without graphite inserts as a sealing layer, at higher temperatures insulating layers made of silicate fabrics with different temperature-resistant finishes, EPDM-coated fabrics at high mechanical levels requirements or outdoors.
