The 1020.VC2 spatter protection curtain has been developed for industrial welding, cutting and metalworking areas subject to high thermal loads and intense spatter exposure. It provides a robust protective barrier against flying sparks, hot welding spatter and molten metal splashes, protecting adjacent work areas, machinery and components.
The 1020.VC2 is based on a heavy GT glass fabric coated on both sides with vermiculite. This creates a durable high-temperature material with a total area weight of approximately 1,120 g/m².
The double-sided vermiculite coating enhances the fabric's resistance to direct thermal exposure and hot particles. The 1020.VC2 spatter protection curtain is designed for temperature resistance up to 1,000 °C and is particularly suitable for areas where, in addition to sparks and welding spatter, larger hot particles or molten metal splashes may occur.
Dimensions, edge finishing and eyelets are individually adapted to the specific application. On request, we supply the 1020.VC2 spatter protection curtain as a complete system solution including curtain tracks, curtain rollers and matching mounting components.
