The Fingerhuth welding curtain with PVC viewing window combines a durable textile protective surface with a purposefully integrated transparent viewing zone. The main protective area is made from our proven 607.G1 glass fabric with an area weight of approx. 700 g/m² and a single-sided PU-Alufix coating. The material is designed for industrial welding, grinding, cutting and hot work and is temperature resistant up to 600 °C.
The integrated red-transparent welding protection PVC provides visual contact between the screened welding workstation and its surroundings without having to open the protective partition.
Dimensions and the curtain track system are individually adapted to the respective workstation.

Maintain visibility of the welding workstation without opening the protective partition
Closed welding protection partitions protect adjacent work areas, but at the same time reduce direct visual contact with the workstation.
The integrated PVC viewing window therefore creates a dedicated viewing zone within the curtain system. Work processes can be observed from outside without opening the curtain for process monitoring.
At the same time, the welder retains better visual contact with the surroundings. Movements, people or agreed signals outside the work zone can be perceived more easily.
The red-transparent welding protection PVC is intended for optical screening of welding workstations and complies with ISO 25980 / EN 1598. It does not replace personal eye and face protection for the welder.

Robust textile protective surface with a purposefully integrated viewing zone
Instead of manufacturing the entire welding curtain from transparent PVC, Fingerhuth combines two materials with clearly defined functions.
The large-area protective function is provided by the 607.G1 glass fabric. With an area weight of approx. 700 g/m², a single-sided PU-Alufix coating and temperature resistance up to 600 °C, it forms a robust textile barrier against typical loads generated during welding, grinding and cutting operations.
The red-transparent welding protection PVC, by contrast, is used specifically where visibility is required. It provides visual contact through the partition while simultaneously performing the optical protective function.
The result is not a conventional full-surface PVC curtain, but an industrial hybrid welding curtain with a durable fabric base and a functionally integrated viewing zone.

The viewing window is positioned where it is needed in the work process
Industrial welding workstations differ in height, width, lines of sight, machine layout and required mobility. A fixed window position would therefore be a compromise for many applications.
At Fingerhuth, the position of the PVC viewing window can be individually adapted to the workstation. The viewing zone can, for example, be aligned specifically with the typical eye level of operators, supervisors or employees in adjacent work areas.
The overall width and height of the curtain as well as edge finishing, eyelet arrangement and design details are also defined on a project-specific basis.
This creates a protective partition that is adapted to the actual work process not only in terms of material, but also functionally.

From a single curtain to a movable welding protection partition
The welding curtain with PVC viewing window can be used both as an individual protective partition and as part of a complete movable curtain system.
On request, we supply coordinated curtain tracks, curtain rollers, bends, roller stops, fastening elements and additional mounting components. This allows both individual workstations and longer or segmented protection areas to be implemented.
Particularly in manufacturing and assembly, a movable system enables the work area to be opened and closed flexibly without sacrificing the benefits of the robust fabric surface and integrated viewing window.
