Lightweight spatter protection curtain for extreme temperatures and molten metal splashes
EXTREME HEAT Basic
The 1608.VC2 spatter protection curtain is designed for industrial applications involving extreme thermal loads. It provides a lightweight, high-temperature-resistant protective barrier against flying sparks, hot welding spatter, flames and molten metal splashes.
The material is based on a high-purity SiO₂ silica fabric with a double-sided vermiculite coating. Its total area weight is only approximately 620 g/m². This combines exceptionally high temperature resistance with a comparatively low area weight and good flexibility.
The silica fabric is designed for continuous temperatures up to 1,200 °C and can withstand short-term temperature peaks up to 1,600 °C. The vermiculite coating additionally increases resistance to direct heat exposure and molten metal splashes. The 1608.VC2 spatter protection curtain is FM Approved.
Dimensions, edge finishing and eyelets are individually adapted to the specific application. On request, we supply the 1608.VC2 spatter protection curtain as a complete system solution including curtain tracks, curtain rollers and matching mounting components.
Configure the 1608.VC2 spatter protection curtain with track and mounting system
Configure your individual 1608.VC2 spatter protection curtain directly online. Define multiple curtain positions, individual dimensions, edge finishing and eyelets to suit your application. If required, add matching curtain tracks and mounting components directly to the configuration. This creates a technically coordinated high-temperature protection solution for extreme thermal process conditions.
