INDUSTRIAL Radiant Heat
The 620.A1 heat protection blanket has been specifically developed for industrial applications where machinery, components, workpieces or adjacent work areas need to be protected against intense radiant heat.
The 620.A1 is based on a heavy textured glass fabric laminated with aluminium foil on one side. The highly reflective surface can reflect up to 90% of incident radiant heat, thereby reducing the thermal load on areas behind the blanket. The heat protection blanket is designed for radiant heat temperatures up to 1000 °C.
With a fabric weight of approx. 1,080 g/m², the 620.A1 provides a robust industrial construction and is particularly suitable as a heat shield, thermal barrier and protective cover in mechanical and plant engineering, foundries, metallurgical operations, as well as maintenance and hot-work applications.

620.A1 as Roll Goods and Fabricated Heat Protection Blankets
The 620.A1 is available both as roll goods for individual further processing and in numerous fabricated standard sizes. Custom dimensions can also be manufactured for project-specific requirements. Optional features such as eyelets or a self-adhesive backing are also available.
