The 620.G2 welding blanket is a heavy and particularly robust spark protection and welding blanket for industrial welding, grinding and hot work. It has been developed for applications where, in addition to sparks, weld spatter and thermal exposure, the protective material may also be subjected to high mechanical loads.
The 620.G2 is based on a heavy textured glass fabric with a double-sided PU-Alufix coating. With a fabric weight of approx. 1,150 g/m², the welding blanket provides a durable heavy-duty construction and is designed for application temperatures up to 600 °C.
The 620.G2 is therefore particularly suitable for shielding and covering machinery, components, floors and adjacent work areas during demanding welding and hot work in industrial environments.
