Lightweight Welding Screen for Changing Work Areas

The VEGA welding screen provides practical visual shielding for welding workstations in workshops, metal fabrication and industrial production. Its 25 x 25 mm square-tube frame can be dismantled when required, making VEGA particularly suitable for temporary work areas and facilities where workstation layouts change regularly.

VEGA is freestanding as standard. An optional caster kit is available on request for applications requiring frequent repositioning. The standard frame finish is satin black, RAL 9005.

The range includes three sizes: VEGA 1300 and VEGA 2000 with PVC strip or curtain options, and VEGA 1460 with a tensioned PVC welding curtain. This allows the screening width to be matched to the workstation.

The coloured PVC welding protection materials are intended to provide visual shielding during welding operations. The level of protection and compliance with applicable standards depend on the PVC specification selected.

Easy Assembly and Flexible Workstation Screening

The VEGA design features side frames made from 25 x 25 mm square steel tubing. Its demountable construction allows straightforward assembly and makes the screen easier to relocate or store as requirements change.

Unlike the NOVA and SOLA ranges, which are wheeled as standard, VEGA is supplied as a freestanding screen. An optional caster kit extends its versatility and allows it to be repositioned around the facility.

The satin black RAL 9005 frame can be combined with different PVC welding protection colours. The curtain or strip configuration is selected to suit the respective model size.

PVC Welding Strips or a Tensioned Curtain – Choose the Right Design

At 1300 mm wide, VEGA 1300 provides compact screening, while the 2000 mm wide VEGA 2000 covers larger work areas. Both models have an overall height of 2000 mm, a standard PVC strip length of 1600 mm and approximately 300 mm of ground clearance.

VEGA 1460 features a tensioned PVC welding curtain rather than hanging strips. Measuring 1460 mm wide and 2000 mm high, it is ideal for workstations requiring a compact screen with a continuous curtain surface.
