Para-Aramid Fabric
Para-aramid fabric is a high-performance material made from para-aramid fibers. These fibers belong to the family of aromatic polyamides and are known for their outstanding mechanical and thermal properties. Para-aramid is especially renowned for its exceptional strength, heat resistance, and ability to withstand high stresses.
Para-aramid fabric is woven using a special process from long para-aramid filaments, which gives the material high tensile strength and low elongation. These fibers consist of highly structured molecular chains that are connected by strong chemical bonds. As a result, the fabric achieves very high strength while remaining lightweight.

Technical Characteristics
- Para-aramid fabrics exhibit permanent temperature stability of 350 °C and can withstand short-term exposure to up to 600 °C.
- Para-aramid has extremely high tensile strength and high resistance to mechanical stress while maintaining relatively low weight. Therefore, para-aramid fabrics are ideal for use in applications with high mechanical demands.
- Para-aramid is flame-retardant and does not melt under high-temperature exposure.
- It has high resistance to organic solvents, oils, and many chemicals.
- Para-aramid fabric has good electrical insulating properties, making it suitable for applications in the electronics field.
