The fireproof bag for e-bike batteries has been specifically developed for the safe charging, storage, and transportation of modern lithium-ion batteries. This high-quality safety and charging bag is suitable for e-bike batteries up to 750 Wh and supports risk reduction in the event of thermal incidents such as battery defects or a possible thermal runaway.

Unlike many simple “fireproof” bags, the construction is based on a uncompromising safety concept using 100% non-combustible high-performance materials. The bag features a multi-layer technical construction with integrated insulation layers as well as high-temperature-resistant components based on specialized silica fiberglass fabrics.

The construction has been designed for high thermal and mechanical loads and withstands temperatures of up to 1200 °C.

The fireproof bag has been specifically designed as a safety and charging bag for lithium-ion e-bike batteries. Thanks to the integrated protected cable feed-through, the battery can be charged directly inside the bag without leaving the protected area.

Especially during the charging process, increased risks may arise due to potential cell defects, damage, or technical malfunctions. The bag supports safer battery charging and provides additional protection for surrounding areas, living spaces, garages, workshops, basements, motorhomes, and camping environments.

The construction has been tested multiple times with 750 Wh e-bike batteries and additionally evaluated at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute.

This uncut thermal runaway test shows the controlled reaction of a 635 Wh e-bike battery (SOC 100%) fully enclosed inside our fireproof bag for lithium-ion batteries.

During the test, extreme temperatures, powerful pressure impulses, intense flame reactions, as well as significant smoke and gas development occur – typical characteristics of a fully failing lithium-ion battery. The video documents the complete process without interruption to ensure full transparency.
