The 1100.HT Welding Curtain is a heavy-duty version made from non-combustible glass fabric with a double-sided HT-1100 coating. This coating protects the material from direct thermal exposure and increases its resistance to high temperatures, allowing the curtain to be used up to 1100 °C. The 1100.HT Welding Curtain is particularly well-suited for workshops, metalworking shops, and blacksmithing operations where welding, grinding, and soldering occur. The 1100.HT Welding Curtains are manufactured specifically according to your requirements and are available in a variety of variations and configurations.

Designs and Dimensions:We manufacture our welding curtains exclusively according to your specific requirements. Standard dimensions do not exist; however, considering dimensions that minimize or eliminate waste can result in cost advantages. In this case, a width measured in meter increments should be considered, while the height can still be determined individually.
Eyelets:The welding curtains are standardly equipped with MS-DIN 16 eyelets and an eyelet spacing of approximately 250–300 mm, unless otherwise specified. The top edge is always designed with eyelets for suspension. Additionally, other edges (left, right, and bottom) can be provided with eyelets or hemmed for weighting.

Technical Characteristics

  • These welding protection curtains are non-flammable and heat-resistant up to 1100 °C
  • Good cut, slide, and abrasion resistance
  • Good resistance to flames, sparks, and welding splatter
  • Low areal weight, suitable for large-scale constructions
  • Non-flammable according to DIN 4102

Application Examples

Our welding protection curtains are used in a variety of industries, including the metal industry, shipbuilding, petrochemicals, mining, and general metalworking operations. They provide reliable protection for welders and work areas during welding, cutting, soldering, and other related activities.

  • Welding operations (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc, electric welding)
  • Cutting and grinding (e.g., plasma, laser, oxy-fuel cutting)
  • Maintenance work (e.g., on pipelines, machinery, and equipment)
  • Workshop and industrial applications (e.g., protection for personnel and materials against sparks and splashes)
  • Port and shipbuilding (e.g., repair and maintenance work on ships)
  • Construction industry (e.g., protection for personnel and materials on construction sites)
