SOLA – Mobile Welding Screen with Pivoting Side Arms, ISO 25980
SOLA · MOBILE · EXPANDABLE
Robust Mobile Welding Screen for Flexible Work Areas
The SOLA mobile welding screen combines a robust tubular frame with easy mobility and an adaptable PVC welding barrier. The side sections and crossbars are made of sturdy 32 mm round steel tubing, while the feet are constructed from 35 mm square tubing.
Four ball-bearing castors with a diameter of 75 mm make the screen easy to reposition; two castors have brakes. With ground clearance of just approx. 130 mm, the PVC welding barrier extends close to the workshop floor.
A distinctive feature of the SOLA system is the offset arrangement of the PVC strips around the uprights. This allows the strips to overlap, providing more continuous screening where the main panel meets the pivoting side arms.
SOLA is available as the single-section SOLA 2000 or as the SOLA 4000 with two pivoting side arms, each approx. 1050 mm long. This extends the mobile base screen to a maximum screening width of approx. 4130 mm when required.
OVERLAPPING PVC STRIP ARRANGEMENT
From SOLA 2000 to the Extended SOLA 4000
The SOLA 2000 forms the mobile base screen with a width of approx. 2030 mm. The SOLA 4000 adds two pivoting side arms, each approx. 1050 mm long. With both arms fully extended, the total screening width is up to approx. 4130 mm.
The system features an offset PVC strip arrangement around the uprights. This enables overlapping strips and helps maintain continuous screening between the main panel and the pivoting side arms.
The pivoting side arms can be adjusted to suit the task at hand. SOLA 4000 is therefore particularly suitable for larger workpieces, changing component sizes and work areas where side access or screening needs to be adjusted.
SOLA 2000 and SOLA 4000 – Technical Overview
Both SOLA models share the same mobile tubular frame with 32 mm round tubing, 35 mm square-tube feet and four ball-bearing 75 mm castors. The SOLA 4000 extends the 2030 mm wide base screen with two pivoting side arms.

Configure SOLA 2000 or SOLA 4000 for Your Welding Workstation
The SOLA range is available as a single-section mobile welding screen or a three-section model with two pivoting side arms. Both versions use the same robust tubular frame and can be equipped with different PVC welding protection strips.
Three-Section Welding Screen with Two Pivoting Side Arms
SOLA 2000 provides compact, mobile screening for individual welding stations. Where additional side protection or flexible access is required, SOLA 4000 extends the main screen with two pivoting arms of approx. 1050 mm each. We can help you select the right model and PVC strips.
Mobile Welding Protection with Flexible Extensions
SOLA combines a robust tubular frame with low ground clearance and flexible PVC screening. Available as SOLA 2000 or SOLA 4000, the system adapts to different workstation sizes and access requirements.
