Technical Characteristics

  • The S-TYPE fire containment blankets are made from high-temperature resistant silica fabric with a double-sided vermiculite coating and achieve a high temperature resistance of 1200 °C.
  • The fire containment blanket allows for automatic, controlled venting of pyrolysis gases directly through the fabric structure, thereby preventing ballooning and minimizing the risk of dangerous gas accumulation under the blanket. Manual gas regulation is not necessary.
  • The fire containment blanket is resistant to many chemical substances, including oil and water. This property ensures that it remains reliable under various conditions without losing effectiveness.
  • Developed in Germany, in collaboration with fire departments and the automotive industry, our fire containment blankets are 100% made in Germany.
  • Our fire containment blankets are made exclusively with specially double-covered fire protection seams made from high-tensile, flame-retardant, and steel-reinforced Kevlar yarn.
  • Fire Class A1, according to DIN EN 13501-1.
