The fireTEX® welding blanket type KFZ-1400 made of Preox needle felt is free of glass fibers, very supple and paint-friendly. This blanket withstands brief peak temperatures of up to 1400°C and is ideal for automotive applications. When covering painted surfaces and sensitive interiors, this welding blanket leaves no fiberglass dust and has a good heat-insulating effect. Suitable as a vertical and horizontal welding blanket, resistant to welding spatter, flying sparks and flames, resistant to cuts, sliding and abrasion. Blankets are available in standard and special formats as well as in rolls.
