The silTEX® silicate fabrics are made from high-quality, thermally preshrunk SiO2 special yarns with a high silicon oxide content. The additional high-temperature special finish (HTLE) was developed to enable higher application temperatures while thermally stabilizing the yarns. The HTLE finish has very low outgassing at the first thermal temperature load.
