Material specification:

E-Glass Fiber

Reinforcement:

V4A wire

Coating:

PU-Alufix

Application Temperature:

up to 550 °C

Qualities:

600 - 1000 g/m²

E-glass fabrics with V4A wire reinforcement have an extremely high tear resistance and are used where the material is exposed to high mechanical loads such as vibrations, friction or tension under high thermal loads. This material is particularly suitable as a fire protection fabric and as a starting material for customer-specific fire protection constructions such as fire protection curtains or smoke gas aprons.

The largest market for wire reinforced glass cloth is fire curtains and smoke curtains, as the stainless steel gives the fabrics the strength required to withstand conditions of 1000 °C for up to 4 hours+. Other applications include high stress, flexible compensators within turbines and other demanding systems. Our wire reinforced glass fabrics can have wire/glass yarns in one direction or both directions, and be constructed from 100% wire/glass yarns or differing quantities of normal glass yarns and wire/glass yarns. Many different possibilities exist for wire and yarn combinations, with differing types of fibre, metal and diameters of wire.

We would be happy to advise you personally on this.
